Veerle van Wijngaarden is a PhD candidate at the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis and teaches social and political philosophy at the University of Amsterdam. Her research is about the social constitution of desire, examining how sexuality and sexual desires are related to forms of oppression and what makes them important for subjectivity.
