Anastasiia Marsheva holds a B.A. in Linguistics from the Kazan Federal University and an M.A. in East-West Studies from the University of Regensburg. As doctoral candidate at the International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture, she examines panethnic identity constructs used by people with migration background from ‘Central’, ‘Southeastern’ and ‘Eastern’ Europe.
