Ruowen Xu is conducting her PhD research at Utrecht University, focusing on the aesthetics and politics of deviant social robots in performing arts, drawing insights from feminist science and technology studies and decolonial studies. She is also a lecturer at University of Bonn teaching cross-cultural staging of human-robot interaction and spiritual AI.
