Jacqueline Dalziell is in the first year of her PhD in Sociology with Vicki Kirby at the University of New South Wales, after completing an undergraduate degree with First Class Honours in the Gender and Cultural Studies Department at the University of Sydney. Her academic interests include feminist theory, animal studies, continental philosophy, posthumanism, microbiology and philosophy of science. Her doctoral research examines questions of cellular semiotics, parasitic humanism and microbiological cognitive articulation.
