Daniela Keller is a PhD candidate and assistant at the Dept. of English in Basel where she studied English, Sociology and Media and graduated in 2010. In her MA thesis she analysed the literary garden in the works of the Australian authors Patrick White and Thea Astley. After working as a project leader for a digital communication agency, she returned to the University of Basel in 2012 to start her dissertation project under the supervision of Prof. Ina Habermann. For her PhD she is examining the literary depictions of Germany in contemporary British fiction in relation to space and memory.
