As a PhD candidate (Charles University, Prague) my research examines materialism and contingency in conceptual poetry. Prior to this, I completed studies in Hindi Literature and Literary Theory. I also write poetry (a long poem ‘Diffractions’ will be published with Veer Books in 2014), am a contributing editor of VLAK magazine, have initiated several small press journals, and (since 2003) have organised and participated in various literary events in Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague.
