Educated at University of Pune, with a Masters in German Studies. Completed her PhD in 2010 at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität, Freiburg with a thesis on the German Travel Writing on India in the second half of the 20th century. Major areas of interest are travel writing, Indo-German cultural relations and Cultural history of Germany. Currently working as Assistant Professor at the Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar.
