Xin Liu is a PhD student in the Finnish National Doctoral Program in Women’s and Gender studies, and at the Women’s Studies/ Department of Social Sciences, Åbo Akademi University, Finland. Her research interests include feminist science studies, feminist theory, and critical race theory. Her dissertation project is titled “Speaking Race: The Political Economy of Racialized Visual-Aural Encounters”.
