Simone Zweifel is a PhD student of History and is working on her doctorate in the program Organisation and Culture (DOK) at the University of St. Gallen. She studied at the University of Basel and at “Humboldt Universität zu Berlin” (Erasmus) and graduated 2012. From 2009-2012, she was Student Assistant and from 2012-2013 Academic Assistant at the University of Basel (Prof. Kaspar von Greyerz). Since 2013 she holds the same position at the University of St. Gallen (Prof. Caspar Hirschi). Her dissertation project is titled: “For healthy and sick people. Production and Transfer of “Recipe-Knowledge” in the Early Modern Period.”
