Benedetta Zucconi (1985) completed her Ph.D. in musicology in 2016 at the Universität Bern, with a dissertation about the intellectual history of recorded music in Italy at the onset of the twentieth century. Since August 2016 she has been postdoctoral researcher (‘junior fellow’) at the Walter Benjamin Kolleg of the Universität Bern. Her research interests concern mainly contemporary music and history, intellectual history of recorded sound and musical diplomacy. Website
