Samira Yildirim studied Art History and Media Sciences at the Ruhr-University in Bochum, Philipps-University in Marburg and Marmara University in Istanbul. After organizing various non-profit art and culture projects, events and exhibitions she started to work for art museums. In her M.A. thesis she currently analyzes the visualization of borders and border crossings in contemporary video artworks of Javier Téllez, Bouchra Khalili, Multiplicity and Leila Alaoui.
