David Jara obtained an associate degree in social sciences and humanities at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In 2010 he completed his MA studies in English and Spanish literature at the University of Heidelberg and is currently a member of the Heidelberger Graduiertenschule für Geistes – und Sozialwissenschaften (HGGS).
His PhD research project – “Framing Strategies in Role-playing Games” – focuses on the creation, interpretation and negotiation of fictional worlds in ‘tabletop’ role-playing games.
