Simon Ottersbach is a doctoral candidate in history at Justus-Liebig-University Giessen, Germany, as well as previous stipend-holder and now Publications Coordinator at the International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture Giessen (GCSC). In his research, he is interested in the transnational history of knowledge and science in the Cold War with a special focus on the role of Radio Free Europe in the production and circulation of Cold War Knowledge. He has previously studied History, English Language, Literature, and Cultures, Educational Sciences, and Social Studies at the Universities of Regensburg, Germany, and Sheffield, UK.
