Audrey Hostettler is a doctoral student at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland). Her thesis project focuses on the uses of moving images in Swiss schools during the interwar period. She is also interested in cinema technology and in the history of the creation of film studies as an academic field. She is part of the doctoral committee of TECHNÈS (International Research Partnership on Cinema Technology).
