Hanna Baro studied Art History, English Linguistics and Literature and Museum Studies in Heidelberg and Melbourne. She was a Pre-Doc Fellow at the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz – Max-Planck-Institut, fellow in the MaxNetAging Research School/Max-Planck-Society and the DFG-Graduiertenkolleg ‚Materialität und Produktion’. From 2016 to 2019 she worked as a scientific collaborator and lecturer at Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf and since 2020 she has been working at the University of Siegen. Her doctoral thesis focuses on the materiality of transience in contemporary art.
