Yorick Josua Berta was born in Berlin, Germany, where he eventually studied Art History, Slavonic Studies and a tiny bit of Philosophy at Humboldt University as well as Free University. After doing an exchange year in Moscow and a Master’s course in Philosophy of Art in Canterbury, UK, he started working as a research assistant at the University for Art and Design Linz, Austria. Since 2019, he is living in Vienna, teaching and writing his dissertation on decaying artworks from home, and desperately trying to cultivate non-screen-related hobbies.
