Since August 2020, Fabienne Blaser is a PhD student and Directors’ Assistant at the University of Bern. She was selected as one of two doctoral students to be part of the SNSF-funded project The Beach in the Long Twentieth Century, supervised by Prof. Dr. Virginia Richter and PD Dr. Ursula Kluwick. Her dissertation examines representations of coastal disaster in contemporary anglophone literature. She previously completed her MA in English at the University of Bern.
