Darcy Alexandra is a multimodal anthropologist, filmmaker and poet at the Institute of Social Anthropology, University of Bern. Her research and practice span the social and natural sciences and the arts. Entre Rios: Surveillance and Futurity in the US-Mexico Borderlands, examines hydro-social relations of care while her current animated documentary, The Woman You Look For, examines state violence, spectral belongings and radical kinship. Alexandra received first-place in ethnographic poetry from the Society for Humanistic Anthropology.
