Senne Schraeyen obtained his master degree in Art Studies and Archaeology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) with a thesis on the theme of Heimat in the art of Roger Raveel and Gert Robijns. Right now, he is affiliated with the research group VISU as a doctoral student. He is working for the Research Foundation of Flanders (FWO) on a project that aims to rediscover the contribution of Belgian art networks to the second wave of Western environmentalism from the 1960s through the 1980s.
