Sarah Schrimpf is a visual artist and PhD candidate who is working with a large variety of material and media. She is a graduate from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and holder of an MRes degree from the Royal College of Art in London. Her research revolves around questions such as what we perceive as humans but cannot express. Sarah was a visiting student at the Ecole nationale supérieure Louis-Lumière in Paris, the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, the ESADMM in Marseille and the National Filmschool in Lodz. She was shortlisted for the Sony World Photography Awards and received the Sony Student Grant.
