Nadja Rothenburger earned a BA in Theater Studies and Comparative Literature from the Freie Universität Berlin and a Master´s degree in Dance Studies and World Literature from the University of Bern. Next to her studies she worked in various contexts as a writer, performer, dramaturg and assistant for disabled dancers. Since 2020 she is doctoral student and researcher at the Institute of Theater Studies at the University of Bern. In the frame of the SNF-funded project Auto_Bio_Graphy as Performance. A field of Dance Historiographic Innovation she works on her subproject Auto_Choreo_Graphy.
