Beate Absalon studied Education, Cultural Theory, and Visual Culture in Berlin, London, and Vienna. She is currently a PhD candidate at the Graduate Center for the Study of Culture in Gießen. In May 2024, her non-fiction book “Not giving a fuck” was published, proposing a generative perspective on ‘sexual failure’ as a means of undoing compulsory sexuality. Beate is also a workshop facilitator active in queer-feminist, kinkfriendly spaces.
